4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1–1.5 cm thick)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
Creamy cheddar ranch sauce:
1 cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz / 28g)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (sharp cheddar works best)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup milk (optional, to adjust thickness)
Optional garnish:
Chopped parsley or green onions
Extra shredded cheddar
👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season and sear the pork chops
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove and set aside (they don’t need to be fully cooked yet).
  2. Make the creamy ranch sauce
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
Add butter and garlic, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and sour cream, whisk until smooth.
Stir in ranch seasoning and onion powder.
    Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add the cheese
Slowly stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
Mix until fully melted and creamy.
If sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk.
  4. Finish cooking the pork chops
Return pork chops to the skillet.
    Spoon sauce over the top.
Cover and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes, until pork is tender and fully cooked (internal temp 63°C / 145°F minimum, then rest).
  5. Serve
Spoon extra sauce over each pork chop.
Garnish with parsley or green onions.
Add extra cheese if you want it extra indulgent.

    🔥 Tips for best flavor
Use sharp cheddar for stronger cheesy taste.
Don’t boil the sauce after adding cheese (prevents graininess).
Let pork rest 5 minutes before serving for juiciness
