Sizzling Scallops with Zesty Lime Cilantro Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of sea scallops, thoroughly dried
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon of lime zest
- 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Directions:
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
- When the skillet is hot, add the scallops and sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, combine the lime juice, lime zest, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic to create the zesty sauce.
- Drizzle the lime cilantro sauce over the seared scallops just before serving. Enjoy!
