Slow Cooker Potatoes & Onions

 Ingredients:
5โ€“6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced into rounds
2 large onions, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons olive oil (optional)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
ยฝ cup chicken broth (or water)
Optional: ยฝ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

 Instructions:
Prep the ingredients
Peel and slice the potatoes into even rounds. Slice onions thinly.
Layer in slow cooker
Add a layer of potatoes, then onions. Repeat layers until everything is used.
Season
Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper between layers.
Add liquids & butter
Drizzle melted butter and olive oil over the top. Pour in chicken broth.
Cook
Cover and cook on:
Low: 6โ€“7 hours
High: 3โ€“4 hours
Until potatoes are tender.
Optional cheesy finish
Sprinkle cheese on top during the last 20 minutes and let it melt.
Crispy top (optional but matches the photo)
Transfer to an oven-safe dish and broil for 3โ€“5 minutes until golden and slightly crispy on top.
