Cheesy Ground Beef Biscuit Bake
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent dough
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp mustard (optional)
2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in ketchup and mustard if using.
Flatten biscuit dough pieces slightly and place half in the bottom of the baking dish, pressing edges together.
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese generously on top.
Cover with remaining dough pieces, pinching seams together lightly.
Brush top with melted butter.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting into squares.
