🫐 Blueberry Custard Bake (Individual Servings)
Ingredients
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
3 large eggs
1 cup milk (whole milk works best)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp melted butter
Powdered sugar (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease small ramekins or a baking dish.
Add blueberries
Divide blueberries evenly into your ramekins.
Make the batter
In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until smooth. Add milk, cream, vanilla, melted butter, and mix well.
Gradually whisk in flour and salt until you get a smooth, slightly thin batter.
Assemble
Pour the batter over the blueberries, filling each ramekin about 3/4 full.
Bake
Bake for 30–40 minutes, until the tops are golden and the center is just set.
Cool slightly & serve
Let them cool for 10–15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if you like.
Tips
For extra richness, use more cream and less milk.
Add lemon zest for brightness.
Works great with raspberries or mixed berries too.
