🍲 Hearty Beef Vegetable Stew

🥩 Ingredients:

  • 400g beef (cut into small cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 carrots (chopped)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 2 potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 cups beef broth (or water)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bay leaf (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon flour (to thicken)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Brown the beef
    Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the beef until nicely browned.
  2. Add onion & garlic
    Cook until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add tomato paste & spices
    Stir in tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika, and ginger.
  4. Add broth & vegetables
    Pour in the broth, then add carrots, celery, potatoes, and bay leaf.
  5. Simmer
    Cover and let it cook on low heat for about 45–60 minutes until the beef is tender.
  6. Thicken the stew
    Mix flour with a little water, add it in, and stir. Let it cook for another 5–10 minutes until thick.

The longer it cooks, the better it tastes! Serve it hot with bread 🍞
