🍲 Hearty Beef Vegetable Stew
🥩 Ingredients:
- 400g beef (cut into small cubes)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 3 carrots (chopped)
- 2 celery stalks (chopped)
- 2 potatoes (cubed)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 cups beef broth (or water)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- 1 tablespoon flour (to thicken)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Brown the beef
Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the beef until nicely browned. - Add onion & garlic
Cook until soft and fragrant. - Add tomato paste & spices
Stir in tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika, and ginger. - Add broth & vegetables
Pour in the broth, then add carrots, celery, potatoes, and bay leaf. - Simmer
Cover and let it cook on low heat for about 45–60 minutes until the beef is tender. - Thicken the stew
Mix flour with a little water, add it in, and stir. Let it cook for another 5–10 minutes until thick.
