Chicken and potatoes baked in an air fryer

This is one of those simple meals that cooks all at once in the air fryer. The chicken is juicy and has crispy skin, and the potatoes soak up all the great flavors from the chicken juices and seasoning.

Things you need

6 chicken thighs with bones and skin

3 to 4 medium potatoes, cut into wedges

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Three cloves of garlic, chopped

1 teaspoon of paprika

one teaspoon of garlic powder

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of black pepper

½ teaspoon of dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Directions

Set your air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for about three minutes.

Put the potato wedges in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Put the potatoes in the basket at the bottom of the air fryer.

Use paper towels to dry the chicken thighs.

Use the rest of the olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme to rub the chicken.

Put the chicken on top of the potatoes with the skin side up.

Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken skin is crispy and the potatoes are soft.

To make sure the potatoes cook evenly, gently shake or stir them halfway through.

Before serving, let everything sit for a few minutes. The end result is crispy chicken and perfectly roasted potatoes, all in one basket. 🍗🥔
