Strawberry Cream Cheese Rolls
🧾 Ingredients
Dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2¼ tsp instant yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
Filling
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ¾ cup strawberry jam or pie filling
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the dough
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add milk, butter, and egg.
- Knead 5–7 minutes until soft.
- Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
2. Fill & roll
- Roll dough into a rectangle.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly.
- Spoon strawberry jam over top.
- Roll tightly into a log.
3. Slice & rise
- Cut into 12 rolls
- Place in greased 9×13 pan
- Cover and rise 30 minutes
4. Bake
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until lightly golden
5. Glaze
- Whisk glaze ingredients
- Drizzle over warm rolls

- Use fresh strawberries cooked with sugar
- Add lemon zest to cream cheese layer
- Swap jam for raspberry or blueberry
- Make overnight rolls (refrigerate after shaping)
