Country Ribs
Ingredients:
3 pounds country-style pork ribs
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
Drizzle the ribs with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the ribs.
Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
Remove the foil and brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce and your favorite Southern sides.
