Smoked Sausage and Potato Bake

 Ingredients
500g smoked sausage (sliced into rounds)
4–5 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
1 small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)

 Instructions

1️⃣

 Preheat Oven
Preheat to 190°C (375°F).
Lightly grease a baking dish.

2️⃣

 Prep Ingredients
Slice sausage, dice potatoes, chop onion, and mince garlic.

3️⃣

 Season
In a large bowl, mix potatoes, sausage, onion, and garlic.
Add olive oil, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, and chili flakes.
Toss well to coat everything evenly.

4️⃣

 Assemble
Pour mixture into baking dish and spread evenly.
Drizzle cream or milk over the top.
Cover with foil.

5️⃣

 Bake
Bake covered for 30 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake uncovered another 15–20 minutes until potatoes are tender and top is golden.

6️⃣

 Serve
Let it rest 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with parsley if you like

For extra flavor, sear the sausage before baking.
