2 lbs Chicken wings
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Paprika
Salt and Black pepper to taste
For the Maple Herb Glaze
⅓ cup Maple syrup
2 tablespoons Butter
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh Thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh Rosemary, chopped
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
Optional Additions
½ teaspoon chili flakes for a spicy kick
1 teaspoon Lemon juice for brightness
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Season the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. - Bake the Wings
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and golden. - Prepare the Maple Herb Glaze
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add the Maple Sauce
Stir in maple syrup, thyme, rosemary, and soy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. - Coat the Wings
Remove the baked wings from the oven and toss them in the maple herb glaze until well coated. - Serve
Serve hot and garnish with extra herbs or sesame seeds if desired.
