Everyone Runs to the Kitchen When I Cook This! 🏃♂️🍗 My Husband Asks for It Every Day
Some recipes are good… and some recipes become family favorites that everyone keeps requesting again and again. This is one of those recipes in my house! Every time I start mixing these ingredients, the delicious smell fills the kitchen and suddenly everyone is asking, “Is it ready yet?”
These crispy chicken fritters are juicy on the inside, golden and crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. The combination of tender chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, fresh herbs, and a touch of sour cream creates a texture that is soft, creamy, and absolutely irresistible.
The best part? They’re quick to prepare, simple to cook, and perfect for lunch, dinner, or even a snack. Serve them with a fresh salad, garlic sauce, or inside a sandwich and you’ll have a meal that tastes like something from a restaurant.
Trust me—once you try them, your family will ask for them all the time!
Ingredients
- 30 grams (1/4 cup green onions), finely chopped
- 500 grams (1 lb chicken breast), finely diced or ground
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 80 grams (3/4 cup mozzarella cheese), shredded
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the mixture
In a large mixing bowl, add the finely diced or ground chicken breast. Add the chopped green onions, parsley, shredded mozzarella cheese, sour cream, and eggs.
2. Add the seasoning
Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. These spices add a delicious savory flavor and a beautiful color to the fritters.
3. Add the flour
Sprinkle in the flour and mix everything together until well combined. The mixture should be slightly thick but still soft and scoopable.
4. Let it rest
For best results, cover the bowl and let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes. This helps the flavors blend together and makes the fritters easier to cook.
5. Heat the pan
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a thin layer of oil.
6. Fry the fritters
Using a spoon or small scoop, place portions of the chicken mixture into the hot pan and gently flatten them into small patties.
Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
7. Drain and serve
Remove the fritters from the pan and place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
