Saucy, Cheesy, Savory Beef Bake
A rich, saucy, ultra-cheesy comfort dish loaded with bold flavor — perfect for family dinner or when you’re craving something hearty and satisfying.
Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
500 g (1 lb) ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 cup tomato sauce (or marinara)
½ cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream (for extra richness)
2 cups cooked pasta (penne or macaroni)
1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the Beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Build the Sauce
Stir in salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Add tomato paste and cook 1 minute.
Pour in tomato sauce and beef broth.
Stir in heavy cream.
Simmer 5–7 minutes until thick and saucy.
Combine
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
Transfer everything to a baking dish.
Add the Cheese
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar generously on top.
Bake
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Bake 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
For golden top, broil 2–3 minutes.
