No-Knead Seeded Savory Bread (Spoon & Bake)
🧾 Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- 2 eggs
- 1½ cups milk or buttermilk
- ¼ cup oil or melted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, gouda, or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp mixed seeds (flax, sesame, sunflower, pumpkin)
- Optional: 1 tsp dried herbs (thyme or rosemary)
Topping
- 2–3 tbsp mixed seeds
- 1 tbsp grated cheese
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, seeds, and herbs.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and oil.
- Stir wet ingredients into dry just until combined (batter will be thick).
- Fold in shredded cheese.
- Spoon batter into pan and smooth top.
- Sprinkle with seeds and cheese.
- Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes, then slice.

- Add grated zucchini or carrot (½ cup, squeezed dry)
- Use Greek yogurt instead of some milk for extra moisture
- Make it gluten-free with a 1:1 GF flour blend
- Delicious toasted with butter, honey, or cream cheese
