No-Bake German Chocolate Pie
🧾 Ingredients
Crust
- 1 chocolate cookie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Chocolate Filling
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 (3.9 oz) box chocolate instant pudding mix
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
German Chocolate Topping
- ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract

1. Make the filling
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add condensed milk and mix well.
- Add pudding mix and milk; beat until thick.
- Whip in heavy cream until light and fluffy.
- Spread filling evenly into the crust.
2. Prepare coconut-pecan topping
- In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter.
- Stir in condensed milk and egg yolk.
- Cook 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, coconut, and pecans.
- Let cool slightly.
3. Assemble
- Spoon topping over chocolate filling.
- Smooth gently.
4. Chill
- Refrigerate 4 hours (or overnight) until set.
