- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins:
- ½ cup chopped Reese’s cups
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Topping
- 1 ½ cups (250 g) milk chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1–2 tbsp heavy cream (optional for a softer topping)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the peanut butter base
- Beat cream cheese + butter until creamy.
- Add peanut butter, mix smooth.
- Add powdered sugar + vanilla + salt, beat until fluffy.
- Fold in chopped Reese’s or chocolate chips if using.
- Spread mixture evenly into a large shallow serving bowl or plate (just like the photo).
2. Make the chocolate layer
- Melt chocolate chips + peanut butter in 20–30 sec microwave bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Add 1–2 tbsp cream if you want it more “soft scoopable.”
- Pour or spread the chocolate over the peanut butter dip.
3. Chill
Refrigerate 15–20 minutes so the chocolate sets but is still soft enough to scoop.
🍪 Serve with:
- Pretzels (like in the picture)
- Graham crackers
- Vanilla wafers
- Strawberries or bananas
- Ritz crackers (sweet + salty 💯)
⭐ Tips
- If you want the chocolate layer to stay very soft, mix in ½–1 tbsp coconut oil or a splash of cream.
- If you want a firm Reese’s-style top, skip the cream.
