๐Ÿฅฉ Ingredients:

  • 400g beef (cut into small cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 carrots (chopped)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 2 potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 cups beef broth (or water)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bay leaf (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon flour (to thicken)

  1. Brown the beef
    Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the beef until nicely browned.
  2. Add onion & garlic
    Cook until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add tomato paste & spices
    Stir in tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika, and ginger.
  4. Add broth & vegetables
    Pour in the broth, then add carrots, celery, potatoes, and bay leaf.
  5. Simmer
    Cover and let it cook on low heat for about 45โ€“60 minutes until the beef is tender.
  6. Thicken the stew
    Mix flour with a little water, add it in, and stir. Let it cook for another 5โ€“10 minutes until thick.
