EASY CREAMY SALMON FLORENTINE


A rich, restaurant-style dish made in one pan — tender salmon in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce with spinach.


🛒 Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Creamy Florentine Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)

👩‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Cook the Salmon

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down and cook 4–5 minutes until golden.
  4. Flip and cook 2–3 minutes more. Remove and set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Florentine Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Stir and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add spinach and cherry tomatoes; cook until spinach wilts.

3️⃣ Combine & Serve

  1. Return salmon to the skillet and spoon sauce over the fillets.
  2. Simmer for 2 minutes to heat through.
  3. Serve hot with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
