Orange Marmalade Sweet Rolls
🧾 Ingredients
Dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2¼ tsp instant yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
Filling
- ¾ cup orange marmalade
- ¼ cup soft butter
- Zest of 1 orange (optional, boosts flavor)
Orange Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp orange juice
- ½ tsp vanilla (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Make dough
Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add milk, butter, and egg. Knead 5–7 minutes until soft. Cover and rise 1 hour.
- Fill & roll
Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread butter, then marmalade evenly. Sprinkle orange zest if using. Roll up tightly.
- Slice & rise
Cut into 7–9 rolls. Place in a greased round pan. Cover and rise 30 minutes.
- Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until golden.
- Glaze
Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.

- Add a cream cheese glaze for extra richness
- Swap marmalade for apricot or peach preserves
- Make overnight rolls: refrigerate after shaping, bake in the morning
