Cherry Cheesecake Danish Bars
🧾 Ingredients
Crust / Base
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Filling
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cherry Layer
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prep
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Grease or line a 9×13 pan
2. Bottom crust
- Press 1 can crescent dough into the pan
- Pinch seams together
3. Cream cheese layer
- Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth
- Spread evenly over dough
4. Cherry layer
- Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over cream cheese
5. Top crust
- Tear remaining crescent dough into chunks
- Scatter evenly over cherries (rustic look is perfect)
6. Bake
- Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set
- Cool slightly
7. Glaze
- Whisk glaze ingredients
- Drizzle over warm bars
❄️ Make It Extra Festive
- Swap cherries for cranberry pie filling
- Add almond extract to glaze
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar “snow”
- Serve with hot cocoa or coffee

- Bake the night before
- Refrigerate overnight
- Warm slightly before serving or enjoy chilled
