Sausage & Cheese Biscuit Bites (Sausage Balls)

⭐ Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage (raw)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups Bisquick mix (or see homemade mix below)
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Homemade Bisquick substitute (if needed)
Mix together:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅓ cup cold butter (grated into mixture)
🥣 Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a mini muffin pan (like in the picture).
2. Mix the Dough
In a large bowl, combine:
- Raw sausage
- Cheddar cheese
- Bisquick
- Cream cheese
- Garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper
Mix with hands until everything forms a thick dough.
3. Shape
- Scoop into 1–1.5 inch balls.
- Place each ball into the mini muffin tin.
4. Bake
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- They should be lightly crispy on the outside and soft inside.
