Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage (raw)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix (or see homemade mix below)
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Homemade Bisquick substitute (if needed)

Mix together:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup cold butter (grated into mixture)

🥣 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a mini muffin pan (like in the picture).

2. Mix the Dough

In a large bowl, combine:

  1. Raw sausage
  2. Cheddar cheese
  3. Bisquick
  4. Cream cheese
  5. Garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper

Mix with hands until everything forms a thick dough.


3. Shape

  • Scoop into 1–1.5 inch balls.
  • Place each ball into the mini muffin tin.

4. Bake

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  • They should be lightly crispy on the outside and soft inside.
