Baked Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients

For the Peanut Butter Balls

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham cracker crumbs (or digestive biscuits)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter (optional, for smoother chocolate)

🥣 Instructions

1. Make the Peanut Butter Dough

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat peanut butter + softened butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar, mix until combined.
  3. Add graham crumbs, vanilla, and salt, then mix until dough forms.
  4. Chill dough for 20 minutes (makes rolling easier).

2. Shape and Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake 8–10 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden.
    • They will look soft—this is normal.
  4. Let them cool completely before dipping.

3. Coat in Chocolate

  1. Melt chocolate chips (and coconut oil if using) in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each baked ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  3. Place on parchment to set.
    • For faster setting: refrigerate for 10–15 minutes.
